What Aetna Covers for Rehab in Maryland
Aetna plans cover medically necessary detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care under federal parity rules. Aetna requires precertification for inpatient and residential admissions, which our admissions team obtains through Aetna Behavioral Health before you arrive, and some plans also authorize PHP and IOP in advance. Your cost is your plan’s in-network deductible, copay or coinsurance, capped by its out-of-pocket maximum.
