Angie S. Golod is the Executive Director who oversees The Recovery Village in Umatilla, Florida. She has been a registered nurse for over ten years, spending the first six years working in critical care before following her heart to pursue a career in behavioral health. With several years of leadership experience, she believes it takes a collective effort built on strong relationships to reach a shared mission of quality, patient-centered care.
She is currently pursuing her specialty as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) at Walden University. Her favorite quote is, “Your illness does not define you. Your strength and courage does.” – Unknown.
