Filling in the Gaps For Families

We will be covering some fundamentals of family involvement and overlooked concerns. We will be raising to the level of awareness of some pieces that clinicians can listen for and with families and provide resources for them.

Objectives:

  1. Equipping those working with families with missing pieces of information.  
  2. Empowering all concerned a shift in perspective with a new skill.
  3. Highlighting some limiting beliefs around family involvement.

About the Speakers:

Anne has a post master’s in Counseling and is a woman in Long Term Recovery. She has over 30 years of professional and lived experience supporting individuals and families on all sides of addictions and in recovery. In addition to her advanced degree, Anne holds many certifications and a highly skilled training and also is certified as a Connecticut Community For Addiction Recovery CCAR Coach and Trainer, Grief Recovery Method Counselor and NJ Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.
