"It is never too late."

“It is never too late. You have nothing to lose by seeking treatment and everything to lose by continuing to use. No matter what anyone has said to you or what you have told yourself, you are worthy and deserve to be happy.”

Ovie Fleites, The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health Alumni

Facility Overview

For all of its coastal beauty and vibrant flora and fauna, Florida is not immune to substance abuse problems. South Florida, in particular, is severely affected by the opioid epidemic sweeping the country.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 5,088 Floridians died from a drug overdose in 2017. A year before in 2016, one person died every two hours in South Florida due to an opioid overdose. To help combat the opioid epidemic and addiction in general, The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health Drug and Alcohol Rehab recently opened its doors in July 2019.

Serving South Florida communities and welcoming both in- and out-of-state clients, The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health Drug and Alcohol Rehab is poised to change these statistics through high-quality, personalized treatment for substance abuse. We believe that when more people seek compassionate treatment, especially in South Florida, we can help turn the tide of the opioid epidemic and drug overdose rates.

The Recovery Village Palm Beach at Baptist Health Reviews

Choosing Palmer Lake for alcohol rehabilitation was the best choice I've ever made. Professional staff and meaningful therapy made all the difference.
The staff were incredible and so endearing. The reviews of people mentioning friends passing or medical issues are some of the consequences of substance abuse and addiction which has absolutely nothing to do with the facility itself. My intake went very smooth and I felt welcome from the very second I walked in. The therapists, clinical teachers, curriculum, medical providers, and BHTs are above and beyond and make sure everyone is treated not only fair but with great hospitality. I wish more people struggling find this wonderful and safe place as I believe it has truly changed my life for the best.
This facility was my first call and the best choice I could have made for my loved one. The staff was extremely helpful and very caring and made the whole process so easy.
When the ship is sinking, there's a heightened
awareness of where help may be offered. Tremendous gratitude for the opportunity to return and for the support.
Wonderful rehab facility. I really loved therapist, Megnann and Arno!
I honestly believe that I owe my life to Recovery Village. I stayed here for almost 60 days, and I feel like a completely different person than when I first went in. I finally have a chance at succeeding in my sobriety! The BHT Audrey was amazing and therapists Arno and Ann really helped me through some trauma that caused my addiction in the first place. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking help for their addiction! They really do care about you here and go above and beyond to make sure you’re getting the care you need!

Edit: I’ve remained sober since I left PLR and achieved 5 months sober on Sunday the 13th! All thanks to the tools this rehab taught me and the resources they’ve provided to me. Thank you so much PLR!!

Edit #2: I just celebrated my one year of sobriety on September 13th 2022. I am so grateful for this facility. They have truly saved me.

Edit #3: It has now been almost 4 years, (3 yrs and 9months) that I have been sober. This program is absolutely incredible. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for the tools and skills this program taught me. They offer the best therapy and treatment I have ever experienced. Thank you for changing my life. I can’t thank you enough, even this many years later.
Response from the owner:Thank you for your kind review. It’s our goal that each person can heal effectively in a safe, supportive environment.

FAQs

How much rehab costs varies depending on your insurance coverage and the kind of treatment you need. Typically, intensive levels of care like detox and inpatient involve the highest costs, while outpatient programs tend to cost less because they involved fewer programming hours and medical resources.
