What To Expect
Our Umatilla campus provides a healing environment where you can focus entirely on recovery, with recreational facilities and comfortable living spaces designed to support whole-person wellness.
Smartphones will be securely stored upon arrival for the safety and privacy of all our clients. A safety call will be made upon arrival to loved ones. After a 72-hour blackout period, patients can use facility phones three times per week for 30 minutes during non-clinical hours Saturday through Thursday.
In inpatient substance abuse rehab and PHP levels of care, patients can signed their cell phone in and out for two hours per day, three days per week following required programming. Patients must sign an agreement and add a safety strip to the camera to preserve patient privacy.
Primary mental health clients will not have cell phone access while in the mental health unit to support their rest and recovery.
The Recovery Village Umatilla allows residents to take periodic smoke breaks during designated times. The timing and frequency of these breaks will be determined based on situational medical recommendations and programming. If you smoke, you will need to bring enough unopened cigarettes or tobacco products for the anticipated length of your stay. Vaporizers and e-cigarettes are permitted, but they must be labeled as Pure Nicotine with no additional additives. Only disposable vapes will be allowed on site, as there will be no ability to charge them. All smoke and vape products must be new and sealed upon arrival at the facility. Smoking cessation products may be offered during your treatment.
All visits from your loved ones are supervised at our facility. Our family engagement sessions are offered at least once per week during most levels of care and virtual sessions on Saturdays, at The Recovery Village Drug and Alcohol Rehab. Visitation decisions and arrangements are made privately between each client and their therapist during treatment.
Rooms at The Recovery Village Umatilla provide a comfortable place to rest during your recovery. Between two and three patients typically occupy each room. However, some rooms may house as many as four patients at a time. Each of these rooms includes one private bathroom that all of the room’s residents share. The number of residents in each room may vary depending on your individual treatment stage and care needs.
Each day, in-house chefs prepare, plan and serve three nutritious meals for all residents. Typically, you will have a few different meals to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Three snacks a day are also provided. No outside snacks or meals are permitted in the center. If you have any food allergies, please let us know prior to your arrival so we can appropriately accommodate you.

Paying For Treatment
We are in-network with most major carriers including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, and United. Our online tool is HIPAA-compliant and completely confidential.
How much rehab costs varies depending on your insurance coverage and the kind of treatment you need. Typically, intensive levels of care like detox and inpatient involve the highest costs, while outpatient programs tend to cost less because they involved fewer programming hours and medical resources.
Laptops are not allowed at The Recovery Village Drug and Alcohol Rehab. Smartphones, however, will be securely stored upon arrival for the safety and privacy of all our clients. These devices may be signed in and out by a therapist at appropriate times.
No, we do not pay for travel to or from our facility, but representatives can help you coordinate travel arrangements.
