Samyra Boney, LMHC

About

With over 20 years of clinical management experience in behavioral health and co-occurring disorders, Samyra Boney is a strategic thinker and goal-oriented leader with a proven ability to coach and motivate teams. Samyra attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and obtained a master’s degree in Psychology and Counseling from Troy University. She has refined her clinical skills by working with adults, adolescents, children and families with a variety of mental health disorders. Samyra’s focus areas include ADHD, behavioral disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD and schizophrenia spectrum disorder. She is certified in EMDR therapy and Community Resiliency Modality. She is also a certified trauma-informed care specialist and is a qualified supervisor for registered mental health counselor interns.

Samyra is a member of the Critical Incident Team and FEMA Crisis Response Team for Orange County. She is a 30-year active veteran, in which she supported humanitarian missions. She has also participated in “Give an Hour” to local veterans.
