About

Dr. Anna is a Latina licensed professional counselor and approved clinical supervisor in New Jersey with more than 15 years of experience as a mental health counselor. She graduated from Montclair State University with a doctorate in counseling. She is an assistant professor in mental health counseling at Nyack College and is a twin mom. Currently, Dr. Anna is the past president of the Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ) division of the American Counseling Association (ACA). Dr. Anna was given the prestigious education award from the New York League of Puerto Ricans for her positive contributions to the Latino communities of New York City. She was also recognized by Negocios Now as an accomplished professional during their 40 under 40 events. Dr. Anna owns Charlandra Counseling Services, where they specialize in helping people with infertility challenges, post-partum concerns, and depression and anxiety. She prides herself on being able to collaborate and motivate others to be social change agents.
