MISS HOMESTEAD — Anastasia Valimaki joins us as a Real Talk Brand Ambassador in 2020! She is a Master’s student at the University of Florida, from Lantana, Florida, studying Biomedical Engineering. In addition to serving as an ambassador, Anastasia also dedicates her time to Gear Up 4 STEM and has been name a Global Literacy Champion for helping to build a library in Sierra Leon.Supporting Real Talk and Advanced Recovery Systems is important to her because of family members who have struggled with substance misuse, and as a future physician, she recognizes the significance and impact that substance misuse has on patients, families, and society.
