Amy holds a Master’s Degree in Education and is a member of the Community Outreach Team at The Recovery Village in Umatilla, Florida. Amy is dedicated to helping clients, families, and organizations find quality treatment options. Before joining Advanced Recovery Systems in 2021, Amy was employed in Jacksonville Beach as a Community Outreach Associate, where she helped people find appropriate care to begin their journey in recovery. Most recently she was a clinician in Jacksonville, Florida, at Cipriano & Johnson Counseling where she was counseling clients and families at the Intensive Outpatient Program level. She began her career in healthcare as a Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in neurological rehabilitation for adults and adolescents. Amy made the transition to the substance abuse disorders and behavioral health field after entering her own recovery where she recreated her life and fell in love with her own recovery journey. Amy has a passion for being a difference-maker and is thrilled to join the team at Advanced Recovery Systems. Amy lives next to the ocean in Jacksonville Beach so that she can seek and photograph the daily pre-dawn sunrise with her 12-pound mini Goldendoodle named “Moose”.
