During this level of care, clients work through withdrawal symptoms under the supervision of medical professionals.
Residential substance abuse treatment is the most intensive level of care after medical detox, with continued monitoring while living at the center full-time.
Outline each client’s next steps after their treatment ends, including follow-up appointments and recommendations for nearby support groups.
Promises Atlanta’s residential setting is designed for comfort and routine, with air-conditioned rooms and private or shared lodging options. Daily meals are provided on-site, and shared spaces include bright, spacious lounges for downtime between scheduled activities. A fitness center supports regular movement, while indoor recreation like table tennis and a pool table adds low-key ways to unwind. Outside, shaded seating areas and walking paths create space to reset during the day.

If you don’t have health insurance or your coverage is limited, that shouldn’t prevent you from accessing care. Promises Atlanta offers private pay options to accommodate your needs.

No, Promises Atlanta does not pay for travel to or from our facility. However, our representatives can help coordinate travel arrangements.
