Raising Resilience: Recover, Adapt, & Grow Through Adversity

Join the IAFF Center of Excellence and First Responder Peer Initiative for a free, 1-day behavioral health conference for first responders, spouses, treatment providers, and others interested in learning more about best practices for developing and maintaining first responder resilience. First responder occupations are filled stress and uncertainty, and the day-to-day stressors that come with simply living life don't stop because you're on shift. Therefore, it's crucial for first responders to educate themselves on what it means to be resilient and take action to build and maintain their personal resilience. This conference is focused on arming first responders with the knowledge and tools to become the happiest, healthiest versions of themselves. Speakers from various backgrounds will come together to provide education to attendees. Vendors aimed at supporting the well-being of first responders will also be in attendance to provide easy access to local and national resources. Lunch will be provided. Registration is required!

Speakers for this event include, Jada Hudson, LCPC, CADC, RYT-200, TIYT, Fire Rescue Chief James P. Moore (Ret.), Colleen Worley, LCPC, Molly Jones, LSW, and Tom Howard of First Responder Peer Initiative. Local community resources and vendors will also be in attendance. More information to come!
