Professional Education Series: The Client, Family System and Intervention

An Intervention is often the last resort for a family system in crisis due to the behavior(s) of a loved one.

Objectives:

1. Examine and provide an overview of the Intervention process & discuss clinically

2. Identify and compare the common theoretical Intervention

3. Explore the role(s) of the interventionist, the family system, and the treatment provider(s)

David Gulden is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (qualified supervisor), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (qualified supervisor), Certified Master’s Level Addictions Professional, Nationally Certified Counselor, Board-Certified TeleMental Health Provider and Certified Case Manager Interventionist, Master’s-Level. David has held clinical positions as a primary therapist, program manager, clinical coordinator, family-program director and clinical director for multiple prominent national treatment providers. David obtained his intervention training and certification under the guidance and mentorship of some of the leading experts in the intervention field. In 2017, David founded A New Hope Recovery Services, LLC, located in Winter Park, FL. His primary focus is helping individuals and families through his clinical work as an interventionist, psychotherapist, evaluator and consultant.
