We are in extraordinary times where we are dealing with a lengthy pandemic, civil understand contentious division of populations. In the workplace, in communities, in our personal lives, the upheavals can be debilitating. Learn how to develop resiliency in yourself and those that you serve, inclusive of their roles both at work and in life. We must be able to develop resiliency in managing the current pandemic and its repercussions on mental health. Mental Health Ambassadors need to be equipped to help in

Course Objectives:

A. Participants will determine the impact that pandemics will have on mental health in the workplace and identify appropriate intervention methods.

B. Identify the unique psychological impacts of an outbreak of a pathogen, civil unrest, contentious political climate.

C. Participants will identify appropriate intervention methods. Develop an awareness of how certain communication affects others in a work environment.

D. Learning ways to increase resiliency and practical strategies to cope with stressors, important to maintain productivity and boost morale

E. Teach participants about resources and how to have productive conversations around Mental Health Resiliency at work, home, and in communities, through exercises and sharing.

F. Developing a Crisis plan with clients in times of need.

2 Credit Hours Awarded
