Alex Castro Croy MA, NCC, LAC, LPC, ATP (BILINGUAL)
Mr. Castro holds a LACIII, and is currently working on his Ph.D. in Depth Psychology. Mr. Castro is the Clinical Director and President of Life Recovery Center in Northglenn and Denver, Colorado. Mr. Castro has over 10 years combined experience as a Drug Court Probation Officer, EMDR, DUI curriculum (DWC and Change companies) Substance Abuse (Matrix Model), and Anger Management administrator. He also currently works as an adjunct professor at Metro State University in the human services department.
Objectives:
- Self-care principles in 5 domains
- Mindful of personal triggers that lead to burnout and compassion fatigue
- Maintaining a healthy balance of life at work
Gaining awareness and managing self-care in an addiction career.
Time: 10AM - 12PM MST
Continuing Education Credit Hours: 2
