The US Immigration system and its associated mental health diagnoses will be discussed through the lens of a bilingual social worker from Columbus, Ohio. Also, how to provide effective social services for immigrants and families.
Identify current administration changes to immigration policy and explore proposals for future immigration policy
Identify common symptoms of immigration-related to mental illness and its effect on applicants and US-born family members
How to provide status-sensitive services to undocumented clients and their families

Continuing Education credit hours will be awarded as accredited by NBCC. Attendees will need to contact their governing body in order to have credits applied. The exception would be nurses that would go through CE Brokers. Priority seating is reserved for individuals receiving Continuing Education Credit.
