I have been licensed as a social worker to practice in New York (1994) and Massachusetts (2004), currently actively licensed in Florida (2005). Thru the Florida Institute of Technology, I completed my Behavior Analysis Certification (2010), previously certified in 2007 as a BCaBA. I am Adoption Competency Trained through the Sylvia Thomas Center and DCF.

    Always seeking viable skills and training my clients would benefit from, I am Gottman Trained Level I & II (couples-focused therapy), and EMDR Trained Level I & II (trauma-focused therapy)." 

Presenter Topic: Neurolease™ Restoring Emotional Stability After Trauma

Topic Description: 

This presentation will focus on the autonomic nervous system, how it affects patients, and why it impacts the treatment. You will be introduced to the Neuroleaseprogram and how it has effectively moved patients from surviving to thriving.  

Objectives:

  • Identify and understand the differences between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system

  • Identify and understand the hurdles which exist in traditional therapeutic approaches when the sympathetic nervous system is chronically activated

  • Introduction to a unique and groundbreaking treatment modality neurolease

Continuing Education credit hours will be awarded as accredited by NBCC. Attendees will need to contact their governing body in order to have credits applied. The exception would be nurses that would go through CE Brokers. Priority seating is reserved for individuals receiving Continuing Education Credit.
