Community Education Series:Rising to Resilience from the Depths of Betrayal

Description: Participants will gain knowledge while exploring tools and techniques to assist with healing and embrace resilience. One cannot only survive betrayal and toxicity but also thrive.

Objectives:

1. Participants will define and understand how betrayal often occurs early on in life and is repeated in adulthood

2. Participants will define the term Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) and Empathy- the spectrum

3. Participants will learn tools to develop resilience and be freed from inner trauma that betrayal brought on

About the Speaker:

Dr. Constance Clancy is a holistic and behavioral health practitioner and practices as a licensed psychotherapist, certified hypnotherapist, and Life Enhancement Coach using the BrainStyles System. Constance is the author of The Gift of Change: Embracing Challenges Today for a Promising Tomorrow;Balboa Press, 2013. Her latest book publication is In the Nick of Time: Rising to Resilience from the Depths of Betrayal, Palmetto Publishing, 2020.

Constance has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Indiana State University, Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Sam Houston State University, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Constance has a private counseling practice in Aspen, Colorado and serves her clients offering healthy coping techniques on managing stress and anxiety and is a holistic stress management instructor. She facilitates clients in overcoming depression, Anger Management, EMDR for trauma, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), women in transition, and hypnotherapy. She facilitates a number of retreats throughout the country on stress management, healing from trauma and betrayal and learning resilience. Constance has been practicing since 1990 and comes from Sanibel/Captiva Island, Florida.
