    Krisi Herron is an Adjunct Psychology Professor, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and a freelance writer who contributes to several mental health blogs. Krisi obtained her Master of Arts degree in Psychology through Texas A&M University in Commerce and has worked in the mental health industry for 11 years. Her work with Texas Mentor, Covenant Kids, and East Texas Counsel of Alcohol and Drug Abuse, has allowed her much experience in researching mental health disorders and medication use to provide better services and hands-on experience in developing treatment plans and for her clients.

    Her work has appeared in a number of publications, both online and off, including the Journal of Sports Psychology, Dr. Norman Chideckel’s blog, and ghostwriting contributions to a number of other well-respected blogs, including topics on parenting, education, and overall wellness. She has been on research teams conducting scientific studies and peer reviews on topics of mental health, physical health, hormones, anxiety, sibling studies, sports, and teen issues.
