About

Tim Sosin, MA, LPC, NCC, is a trauma specialist practicing in the city of Philadelphia. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified EMDR Therapist, and A-CRA Therapist. Since trauma is such an impactful common denominator within the lives of so many, Tim has devoted his career to trauma liberation, relational reconciliation, and the recovery process. Everything Tim does is informed by a desire to see people break through the barriers holding them back, specifically those barriers caused by traumatic experiences and developmental wounds. Tim’s expertise and creative approach to advanced trauma treatment has been formed by work within schools as a community counselor and by his experience as an outpatient counselor in community, university, and private sectors.

Over the past five years, Tim has consistently provided innovative treatment and safe, healing spaces, all the while honing his specialization working with various presentations of trauma, developmental wounds, and addiction. He has enjoyed a career surrounded by a diverse and empowering set of mentors and colleagues, but he attributes the formation of who he is as a professional to the insight, bravery, creativity, and openness of his clients.

Tim knows how to get to the root of what is going on at the core. He is equipped to take clients deeper down, and farther out than they may have gone before. His therapeutic approach is a great fit for anyone who wants to be seen, heard, and guided towards peace and joy.
