Job Description: Perform duties to observe, assess and document medical issues, perform routine medical assessments, dispense patient medication and provide vaccinations or draw blood as required, providing services under parameters of designated program and within “proscribed setting, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice. Perform routine intake procedures relating to medical issues and initiate and maintain client medical charts. Dispense and document prescription medications, blood pressure, behavior and other related issued. Take client vital signs as appropriate, change dressings on wounds and perform other routine nursing activities. Order, inventory and maintain stock of prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs and first aid supplies. Assist physician with as required during sick call”

Minimum Requirements: Requires an active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida and current CPR certification. Requires a valid State of Florida Driver’s license and State required insurance. Requires a minimum of one year of nursing experience in a substance abuse treatment environment. Related medical and/or psychiatric nursing experience may be substituted. Must have phlebotomy skills.

Job Description: Perform duties to monitor client participation in activities, assist clients to proceed through the responsibilities and commitments of the assigned program and transport clients to offsite activities, providing services under parameters of designated program and within prescribed setting, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.

Minimum Requirements: Requires understanding of addiction behavior and related social, psychological and health issues. Requires complete knowledge of the organizations related programs, practices and policies as well as rules of documentation and confidentiality. Requires the ability to read, analyze and interpret written information including regulations and effectively communicate verbally and in writing where information includes precise data and terminology, possibly of a confidential nature. Requires the equivalent of a complete high school education along with specialized training in counseling, intervention and behavior modification techniques as well as at least one year of experience in working within a residential treatment facility. Requires a valid State of Florida Driver’s license and State required insurance.

Job Description: Perform duties to include complete and maintain accurate records or reports regarding the patients’ histories and progress, services provided, or other required information; counsel clients or patients, individually or in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making changes; develop client treatment plans based on research, clinical experience, and client histories; conduct chemical dependency program orientation sessions; participate in case conferences or staff meetings; coordinate counseling efforts with mental health professionals or other health professionals, such as doctors, nurses, or social workers; review and evaluate clients’ progress in relation to measurable goals described in treatment and care plans; interview clients, review records, and confer with other professionals to evaluate individuals’ mental and physical condition and to determine their suitability for participation in a specific program; plan or implement follow-up or aftercare programs for clients to be discharged from treatment programs; assess individuals’ degree of drug dependency by collecting and analyzing urine samples; maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment; encourage clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives, helping them to develop insight into themselves or their relationships; collect information about clients through interviews, observation, or tests; assess patients for risk of suicide attempts; fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including federal- and state-mandated forms, client diagnostic records, and progress notes; prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports; counsel clients or patients, individually or in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making changes; guide clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their problems; perform crisis interventions with clients; and develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.

Minimum Requirements: Required Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Mental Health, Social Work or other related field. Graduation from an accredited university or college. Required licensure LMHC, LCSW required, State of Florida. CAP preferred in addition to licensure. Minimum required experience 2-5 years working in the substance abuse and mental health field. Knowledge of JCAHO requirements, and insurance carrier requirements a plus.

Job Description: Responsible for fielding incoming inquiries into a private substance/eating disorder residential facility, to determine eligibility and appropriateness; Day/night/weekend shifts.

Minimum Requirements: HS diploma/GED required, knowledge of behavioral health industry/treatment a plus.
